COSTUMES
PRE-K STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE IN CORRECT DANCE SHOES. Older students may come in street shoes and change. In addition to their costume and makeup on, please make sure your child is wearing the correct shoes for their designated dances.
Here are the shoes for each choreography:
- Storytime Dance = Tap shoes
- Tara’s Ballet/Jazz Class = Tan jazz shoes
- Competition and lyrical Class = Tan footsies
- Hip-Hop classes = Black Hip Hop Trainers
- PreK Tumbling class = Barefoot
- Ballet Classes = Ballet Shoes
IF YOUR CHILD BORROWED SHOES FOR THE RECITAL, THEY MUST BE RETURNED. If you did not purchase the item on your child (shoes, tights, etc.) it must be returned to the front desk before going home.
NO EATING OR DRINKING IN COSTUME. Please do not allow your child to eat or drink while wearing their costume at home, in the car, or otherwise.
NO LEOTARDS FOR PRESCHOOLERS. If your child is a preschooler, please do not put a leotard under their costume.
BRING A REGULAR CHANGE OF CLOTHES. Bring it in your provided garment bag.
PLEASE RETURN YOUR PROVIDED GARMENT BAG.
PLEASE MAKE SURE HAIR & MAKEUP IS UNIFORM.
Hair Requirements:
- Left side part. The front is braided (It’s not just a forward braid it’s a backwards/French braid- However, we have added a link for a regular french braid which is linked below too.) Slicked back into a low side right ponytail. No fly-aways or bangs. Make sure you can dance without it moving. Girls with hair too short for a side pony can do a ponytail to the back. - For the 4-5 Soldiers and dolls, hair is in a bun. (Specifically: Ada, Emery, Margot, Haven, Harley) Video sent on Brightwheel.

Makeup: Because the stage and lights wash out faces, we would like girls to wear light, natural makeup
AGES 3-7:
- Light subtle pink blush
- black mascara
- black eyeliner (optional)
- natural light pink lipstick (No red or bright pink lipstick).
AGES 7-18: Stage Makeup
- Face: False Eyelashes, Eyeliner, Lipstick, Foundation, Blush.
- Nails: No long fake nails. Gel is okay if it is in nude, clear, or very light pink.
- Earrings: Sally’s Crystal Earrings or similar
WEAR EVOLVE TIGHTS. Please make sure your child is wearing the correct color tights. If you have convertible tights, please wear those.

RECITAL FEES
DEADLINE: Friday, May 27th
PAYMENT ACCEPTED: @MK-Evolve on Venmo, cash, or check
FEES:
Ticket fees: Single Ticket for $8. Family pass of 4 Tickets for $25. XL family of 10 Tickets for $40. Ticket fees cover lighting, sound, projections, & more.
June Dance Rehearsal Lessons Discounted fee (per person) [May Lessons Ended on May 27th] = $45
4 lessons + Bonus Lesson
Recital fee (per family) = $45
This covers services such as venue rental, venue insurance, and more.
Costume fee (per student) = $25
This covers services such as dry cleaning, renting, inventory, and maintenance. Costumes will be handed out in class and parents will be required to sign off for them.
Any additional costumes (if applicable) = + $15 each
This covers continued services such as dry cleaning, renting, inventory, and maintenance.
TOTAL due by May 27th
***NOTE*** Monday evening Tumbling/Gymnastics with Kiesa is NOT included as a dance class in the recital. Please consider this as you calculate your total.
BRING SNACKS & WATER
The recital is a long stretch of time for many of the students, so we do encourage parents to pack snacks for their children. 😊
JUNE 2022 CLASSES & ENROLLMENT
We make sure that for every month you submit tuition, your child receives four lessons! For the month of May, your child’s time at rehearsals and the recital are included in tuition!
The four lessons are as follows:
June Lesson #1: Thursday, May 26 @ 4:30-6:30pm- Class Photos & Finale Choreography
June Lesson #2: Tuesday, May 31 @ 4:30-6:30pm (Studio Rehearsal)
June Lesson #3: Wednesday, June 1 @ 4:30-6:30pm (Dress Rehearsal)
June Lesson #4: Monday, June 6 @ 6:30-8:30pm (Performance)
June Bonus Lesson (#5): Tuesday, June 14 @ 6:00-7:30pm (Evolve Banquet)
